Tony Cooper

Tony Cooper is a visual artist with a long-term practice as an on-site landscape painter and indoor and outdoor on-site sculptural installations. Tony is interested in the juxtaposition of elements that reference the human body, with or against the environment, both urban/industrial and natural/organic. His work explores the land, earth, and geological underpinnings through an extensive on-site landscape practice, placing his work on the land, in direct relation to the elements. Cooper has visited Killarney Park since the late 1970’s, making hundreds of small on-site panels of the La Cloche Mountain range.
