Emily De Angelis

Emily De Angelis is a writer and teacher from Sudbury, Ontario. She has been an active member of the literary community locally, provincially and nationally as a member and/or executive of various writing organizations, conference participant and organizer, storyteller and author/reader. Emily’s writing, both poetry and prose, is often inspired by the physical environment that surrounds her, especially the geography of Northern Ontario. Her most recent research experience includes the unique land formations and vegetation of Manitoulin Island. As well as participating in the Willisville Mountain Project, Emily hopes to complete a young adult novel set in Meldrum Bay and along the shores of the Mississagi Strait.
