Karen Dominick, a photographer and resident of the village of Willisville for the last twelve years, has found the wilderness of the area to be a rich source of inspiration for her photography. Her love of the mountains has taken her to the summit of Kilimanjaro; through the Cordillera Blanca in Northern Peru; the Dolomites in Italy; and finally to the summit of a 6,189 metre peak in western Nepal. Her passion for the world of nature, and the search for a deeper understanding of the human condition and the interconnectedness of all living things is threaded through her art.
