Lance Migwans

Lance Migwans, is a First Nations, Anishnaabe artist raised in M’Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island. He is an emerging artist who incorporates traditional Anishnaabe teachings and thoughts into his work. His paintings always have a story to them, and it is this accompanying story – told orally to the viewer if asked – that unlocks the mystery of the subject matter of his work. This will be his first juried art exhibit.
