Taimi Poldmaa

Taimi Poldmaa is a Visual arts of Estonian nationality who paints in oil on canvas. Her oil paintings make statements of brilliant color, line and shape, boldly exaggerated to reveal the spirit that she sees in every northern landscape, wildflower, rock, and tree. Taimi has received several awards for her paintings from the Algoma Fall Festival, the Northern Ontario Art Association, the Olive Graig Gallery in Sault, Michigan, and the LaCloche Art Show in Whitefish Falls. She is currently painting the Lake Superior Coastal region, creating a body of work towards an exhibition in 2009.
