Glenna Treasure

Glenna Treasure was born in Sudbury and spent her childhood in Creighton Mine, Ontario. With her strong connection to the north she was naturally drawn to recreate local landscapes. Glenna began honing her creative abilities at her garden centre designing with plant material. More recently she has been using textiles to recreate local scenes. She has shown her work at Artist on Elgin, Sudbury; Walden Growers, Lively; and at the 2007 La Cloche Art Show where she won Honourable Mention in the Mixed Media category. More recently, she will have her work featured at Stopciati Gallery in May and June, 2008
